Jennifer Hawkins skips racing season for new ‘crazy adventure’
She’s been a spring racing mainstay for years, but former Miss Universe Jennifer Hawkins will be skipping the races this year in favour of her most important project yet.

This year’s spring racing carnival will be a no-show for Jennifer Hawkins, with a far more exciting project keeping her busy; parenthood.
“This will be the first time in many years I won’t be attending. I’ll have a fresh bubba to look after and I can’t wait for that crazy adventure,” said the model-turned-entrepreneur.
As Hawkins and husband Jake Wall eagerly await the birth of their first child, she’s spending her downtime relaxing, eating lots and enjoying the moment.
“The weather has been so beautiful and warm on the Northern Beaches, so I’ve been getting loads of Vitamin D on my bump, which is great for the bub.”
However, the mum-to-be is quick to stress the importance of sun safety.
“I’ve never been into sun baking because of the damaging UV rays and always cover my face with a hat and wear SPF daily, particularly on my face and neck” she said.
“I’m definitely a summer girl though and like to have a natural looking tan, so I self-tan with Jbronze all year around.”
The model mogul launched Jbronze, her own line of fake tan, six years ago after noticing a gap in the market.
“I struggled to find a complete range in the past that offered a variety of products with the best natural results and couldn’t find a face tan that was suitable for my sensitive skin,” she said.

“My main goals with Jbronze were to create a tan without a horrendous tan smell, one that looked natural, and did not go patchy after one shower.”
