I can confirm that this is the best $4.99 I’ve ever spent at ALDI

The viral product has had shoppers madly trying to find it. I did... and yes, it's dangerously good!

Sometimes when I'm doom-scrolling TikTok, I see things I prefer not to see. Like that time my algorithm was triggered after I spent too much time on someone talking about their dentures, or when I engaged in some heartbreaking content about someone putting their dog down. 

All the obvious cyber safety stuff aside, the internet can dish out some unwanted content when it sees that you were remotely interested... even just once. 

But one thing I don't mind being fed in my online feed is viral food products people are raving about.

Everyone wants ALDI'S Biscoff Mousse

Recently, social media lit up with news that ALDI had just dropped a limited edition Mousse with Biscoff Spread. The two-pack treat was being sold for $4.99 and it was on everyone's "must-devour now" list. 

"Indulge in a delightful dessert that combines the rich, spiced flavor of Biscoff cookies with a light, airy mousse," the website description reads. 

"This no-bake treat is simple to prepare and perfect for satisfying your sweet cravings."

Like many others, I rushed into my local store with no luck. Dammit, people already know about it! 

"Why can't this be like the snow gear sale where no one cares about it?" I asked myself. 

And I wasn't the only one. Many shoppers hit social media to share that they were also yet to get their hands on the tubs. 

"My ALDI didn't have it yet, I wanna cry," one person sobbed.

Get it while you can!

While making a ALDI dash recently, I decided to take a quick look in the fridge section "in case" the limited release items were still hanging around. And there they were... up high on the top shelf above the yoghurts, almost hidden from shoppers' view. 

Not knowing how lucky I would be again if I wanted more, I grabbed three packets. Don't worry, there was a whole box of left so I didn't wipe out the store!

When I got home, I wasted no time opening up one tub and sampling the treat and can confirm it's possibly the best $4.99 I've ever spent at the German supermarket. 

Many in the ALDI Fans Australia group agreed with me. 

"Worth the trip to ALDI," one shopper declared. 

"I tried it today and it was delicious," another agreed. 

Others claimed it was "sooooo good" and "tastes like eating it straight from the jar."

Of course, content like this on your feed does come with a warning like I mentioned. And while it was welcomed by me, others said they preferred not to see it - purely because they didn't trust themselves!

"Please don't show me this... I eat the whole jar of Biscoff in one sitting," someone wrote. 

"Wish I never saw this," another wrote. 

And another agreed it looked "dangerously good."

Get it while you can, folks. And look up in that fridge section next time you're there.
