You’ll find Marlo Hotel in the small, Far East Gippsland town of Marlo almost 400km east of Melbourne. Overlooking the estuaries, it makes the perfect watering hole to sink a few cold ones on a balmy summer’s night. The sunsets on the deck are something not to be missed.

This Mornington Peninsula pub is an oldie but a goodie. The Pig and Whistle has been around since the mid 70s and proudly serves classic British pub fare like bangers and mash, Cumberland sausages and spotted dick. Plus there’s a strong beer list and great ocean views.

The quaint, Stanly Pub is found about 10km from Beechworth in Victoria’s north.
The fridge is packed with craft beers and wines from North East Victoria, but if you have a hankering for the classics they have those too.
