Three different options were on the menu including the double-double, animal-style and protein-style burgers.

But some customers were left disappointed after no fries were available.

Instead, customers were given crisps.

The takeaway giant last came to town in 2014 and 2018.

It’s expected about 600 burgers will be available to purchase before 3pm.
