BURGER lovers who headed to a Melbourne pop up store selling America’s famous In-N-Out Burgers may well have been left hangry after it sold out in just half an hour.

Fans of the world-famous double-double reportedly started queuing from 8.30am, with the line reaching two blocks from Chapel St restaurant, Lover.

Just 300 people were lucky enough to get their hands on the cult burger when the pop-up started serving at 11am.

The last time the cult burgers came to town in 2014, hundreds joined the queue to try the burgers beloved of celebrity chefs and celebrities across the US — Frances McDormand celebrated with one after being reunited with her stolen Oscar.
