A Melbourne development has secured an Australian first, exclusive agreement with Ralph Lauren Home to completely fit out each residence in the designer label’s luxury furnishings and home accessories.
The high-end Church St, Brighton project will include four exclusive residences and one stunning penthouse fully appointed with designer pieces, including everything from the bathrobes and framed art, to crockery and crystal.
Fifty Two Black will offer the residences and one stunning penthouse ranging in size from 225sqm – 289sqm internally and priced from $6 million to $9 million.
Michael Pesochinsky, president of PB&Co., says no expense has been spared on the development with New York interior designer Meg Sharpe, joining the star-studded architect line up of Gregory Tuck (also from New York) and revered Melbourne architect Nicholas Day in designing the residences.
“The level of detail and sheer volume of furniture and accessories is unprecedented – all owners will need to bring with them is their toiletries, everything from the bathrobes and framed art to crockery and crystal will be hand selected and waiting for them,” he says.
“Melbourne’s luxury property market is incredibly sophisticated, and buyers are now looking to global benchmarks to inform their purchasing decisions. Property is no longer bound by the confines of traditional real estate; it is evolving to be informed by art, fashion, luxury and design. Fifty Two Black will be the epitome of these elements.”
Alex Bragilevsky, CEO of PB&Co, says construction across the development is already underway.
“The project is fully funded and construction has already commenced late last year, with the development earmarked to reach completion in December 2021, giving residents even more certainty in the quality and delivery of Fifty Two Black,” he says.
