A suburban bayside family-run bakery has been voted as having some of Victoria’s best croissants in this year’s new-look delicious.100.

However you like your croissants, know bayside bakers Bromley’s Bread has earned its crust among Victoria’s best.

The queue-worthy pastries at Scott and Jenny Bromley’s suburban bakery have been publicly voted among the state’s best in the new-look Best of the Best delicious. 100.

Instead of ranking high-end, often unaffordable, restaurants, this year’s list looked to everyday eats and treats, such as pizza, fish and chips and vanilla slices, shaped by a delicious. dining experts and public nominations.

After receiving thousands of nominations, delicious. will reveal its top five contenders (in no particular order) across 20 categories from noon this Friday.

Readers will then have two weeks to vote and determine the winners in each category to form the ultimate “Best of the Best” delicious. 100 list.

delicious. editor in chief Krysia Bonkowski said Australians were spending less on fine dining and more on accessible food experiences, such as a treat from their local bakery or casual offerings at local cafes and pubs.

“While we may be more conscious of our spending, we’re still enthusiastic about dining out,” she said.

“It’s a culinary renaissance of sorts. This list is a celebration of a more varied, dynamic food scene, celebrating both cost-effective eats and splurge-worthy treats.”

delicious. crowned the top eateries in Victoria, as well as New South Wales, Queensland, South Australia and – for the first time – Tasmania.

See the five nominations in each category from noon this Friday via heraldsun.com.au and in Saturday Herald Sun’s V-Weekend.

Winners from the voting phase will be announced on November 4.

Voting is live from October 20 until November 3 at delicious100.com.au.
