‘Can’t unsee it’: Kmart shoppers notices hilarious detail in $18 buy

Kmart shoppers have recently discovered a quirky detail in one of the discount retailer's latest accessories. 

The black and tan crossbody tote bag, priced at just $18, is causing quite a stir, but not for the usual reasons like style or functionality, or even for being a dupe of higher-priced alternatives.

Rather, it's gone viral in Facebook groups because of its uncanny resemblance to a cow.

Yes — a cow.

The bag, with its distinctive black, tan, and cream patches, not only has the same colours as a cow, but the design actually looks like a cow's face.

"Is it meant to look like a...?"

It all started innocently in a Kmart Facebook group, where one member posted photos of the find and praised it for being the "perfect size."

However, soon enough, people were jumping into the comments and sharing their thoughts, hoping that others would see it too. "Is it meant to look like a cow...?" one asked.

And then many others flooded the post saying they saw it too.

"Now that you mention it...!" one said.

"OMG, that makes it cuter," another added.

And a third replied, "It was the first thing I noticed. I just assumed it was the country gal in me."

"Udderly adorable"

The post gained even more comments as it slowly clicked for people.

"Looks like a Minecraft cow," one mum wrote. 

And someone else joked, "Udderly adorable."

"My daily bag"

Bovine connections aside, people also used the post as an opportunity to recommend the bag. 

"It's so durable. I got the tan colour today!" one wrote. 

"I have one too!" someone else excitedly wrote. "And I love it! The best size, still fits a lot, but not too big!"

"I love mine. I use it as my daily bag and fit plenty in there, and the base is flexible, not hard," another happy customer concluded.
