A Caroline Springs mother was one of two people busted with more than three times the legal limit of alcohol in their system during a booze bus operation on Sunday night.
The drivers were unknown to each other but both attended the Caroline Springs site about 8pm.
The 28-year-old was driving with her children in the car and returned a reading of .160 at the Rockbank Middle Rd site.
The other driver, a 44-year-old man from Burnside, furnished a reading of .173.
Police suspended both drivers’ licences immediately and both cars were impounded for 30 days.
It is expected the man and woman will be charged on summons in relation to drink driving.
