St Albans residents had an early morning fright when they woke up to a unit fire on Friday.
Emergency services were called to Biggs St just after 4.30am after residents abruptly woke to the fire.
An Fire Rescue Victoria spokesperson said more than 10 firefighters arrived at the scene quickly and swiftly contained the unit fire.
“Upon arrival, crews worked together to attack the fire, bringing it under control within 10 minutes,” she said.
FRV is investigating the cause of the fire.
