Second man accused of Williamstown aggravated burglary after stolen Mercedes rammed police car
A dramatic arrest in Geelong saw a Corio man accused of allegedly stealing luxury cars while armed in Williamstown. Now another man has been arrested as his alleged co-offender.

Police have nabbed a second man nearly two weeks after an armed duo allegedly stole luxury cars from a property in Melbourne’s west before allegedly ramming a police car.
Detectives were told two armed men broke into to an industrial property on Byron St about 5.45am before they knocked on a door, fired a shot into the ground and demanded a man’s phone and keys.
The occupants — two men in their 20s and a 6-year-old boy — were unharmed.
Two vehicles, a grey Mercedes and a silver BMW, were allegedly stolen from the address and used to flee the scene.
The stolen Mercedes was travelling along Kororoit Creek Rd when it allegedly rammed a police vehicle.
The police car was damaged but the officers were not injured.
With assistance from the Air Wing, the vehicle was followed to the Geelong suburb of Highton where the male driver was arrested after attempting to flee on foot.
The 23-year-old Corio man was taken into custody and interviewed by police.
He was later charged with home invasion, two counts of armed robbery, reckless conduct endangering life, three counts of common law assault, three counts of theft of motor vehicle and dangerous driving while pursued by police.
The 23-year-old will appear before the Melbourne Magistrates Court on July 1.
On Wednesday, detectives from the Armed Crime Squad arrested a second man at the Werribee train station.
The 20-year-old Altona man was charged with a range of offences including home invasion, reckless conduct endangering life, armed robbery and six counts of theft of a motor vehicle.
Investigators also seized three vehicles, all believed to have been stolen, including a grey Holden Statesman sedan, a white Toyota sedan and a silver Nissan Pulsar.
Assorted ammunition, suspected stolen goods, assorted registration plates, as well as 19 cartridges of .22 calibre ammunition and a single round of ammunition wedged in a small copper tube were also taken by police.
The 20-year-old appeared before the Melbourne Magistrates Court on Thursday and did not apply for bail.
He will reappear on July 1.
