More than 8000 people braved the morning frost to attend “one of the biggest” dawn service’s held in Melbourne’s outer west.
Werribee RSL president Daryl Ryan said this year’s Anzac Day dawn service attendance at the Watton St cenotaph exceeded all expectations.
“This is the biggest crowd I have seen in some time...it even beats when we had the centenary,” he said.
