A champion Melbourne kickboxer allegedly ran a large-scale cannabis and gun possession racket at the home he shares with his wife.

Atdhe ‘Prince’ Bunjaku, 37, fronted Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on Thursday charged with cultivating a commercial quantity of cannabis.

Bunjaku’s wife Mendie Bunjaku, 36, who appeared alongside her husband, had faced similar accusations but charges against her — including possessing a trafficable quantity of guns — were all withdrawn.

The husband and wife duo were arrested at their Altona home on January 13 this year.

It’s alleged Mr Bunjaku, charged with theft and deal with property suspected of being the proceeds of crime, also stole electricity.

Echo Taskforce detectives alleged Mr Bunjaku was caught with guns, a Porsche Cayenne, a Yamaha R1 and $830 cash.

The court heard Mr Bunjaku’s matters had “resolved” after his wife’s charges were withdrawn.
