A scooter rider is fighting for life after a collision in Werribee on Wednesday evening.
Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives are investigating the collision between a car and a road registered scooter.
It is believed the car and the scooter collided at the intersection of Geelong Rd and Werribee-Bacchus Marsh Rd just before 7pm.
The man riding the scooter was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the car was not injured and is currently assisting police with their inquiries.
