In pictures: Imagination alive at Newport marble run

Enthusiasm was running wild for parents and children alike at Hobsons Bay’s marble run for science week. See the pictures.

Marble run at Newport Community Hub

More than 50 children and their parents joined forces at the Newport Community Hub at the weekend to create Hobsons Bay’s biggest-ever marble run.

Imagination was the only limitation as bricks, boxes, pool noodles, newspapers, cardboard tubes and a healthy amount of tape was used to create two massive marble runs.

Held as part of the City’s return to community engagement after two years of lockdowns, the Science Week event on Saturday featured plenty of happy smiles from children aged nine months to 12 years.
