The owners of an ice creamery in Victoria’s south west have offered a reward for the safe return of a “beloved” decorative ice cream cone.
Timboon Fine Ice Cream which operates the Port Campbell Ice Creamery shared sad news that their “big” cone had vanished on social media on Wednesday.
“Much to our despair the beloved ice cream cone that adorned the Port Campbell Ice Creamery has vanished,” the company wrote.
“To say we are upset is an understatement.”
The company has offered a reward for any information leading to the return of the cone, saying an anonymous drop off is also welcome.
The cone was handmade by owner Tim Marwood using a wire frame and fibreglass and was painted to match with the ice creamery’s raspberry and white chocolate offering.
It was mounted to the shop’s veranda.
In a post to Facebook, the company said a second cone had gone missing from the Timboon Fine Ice Cream shop earlier, but had been found.
According to opening hours posted online, the Port Campbell Ice Creamery is closed for the duration of winter.
