Lego is set to open at Highpoint shopping centre to the delight of big and little fans of the famous colourful building blocks.
In a dose of early festive cheer, the grand opening is slated to happen before Christmas, with a date to be announced in the coming weeks.
Richard Facioni, executive director of the Alceon Group in charge of opening Lego stores in Australia and New Zealand, said he was excited to bring a Lego store to Melbourne’s western suburbs.
“We are sure local brick fans of all ages will enjoy the many multi-sensory features inside the custom built Lego retail experience,” Mr Facioni said.
The store, to be located on level 3 inside the centre, will include Lego versions of famous Victorian landmarks.
The store will also be chock-a-block full of a wide selection of Lego sets, including hard to find limited edition collectables.
Special events and activities will also be hosted in store.
Highpoint manager Cristina Persico said she was thrilled Lego would open its doors at the centre.
