An ATM was ripped off a wall at a shopping centre west of Melbourne on Wednesday in an apparent brazen early morning theft.
Police were called to a Woodgrove Shopping Centre on High Street, Melton West about 4.45am after reports of an ATM theft.
Investigators were told a rope or strap was tied to an ATM and pulled from the building by a vehicle.
The vehicle did not enter the shopping centre.
