A teenage boy has been charged for allegedly lighting a bushfire in Melbourne’s west earlier in March.

A teenager has been charged with allegedly lighting a bushfire and allegedly driving while unlicensed in Melbourne’s west.
The bushfire occurred in Truganina on March 5 at grassland between Westmeadows Lane and Rymill Way about 4.30pm, which damaged nearby back fences.
A 16-year-old boy will face charges of intentionally causing a bushfire and driving while unlicensed.
He will appear at a children’s court at a later date.
