Warrnambool: Two children, woman hospitalised after Mortlake crash

A six-year-old boy has been flown to hospital following a crash in the state’s south-west.

Two children were taken to hospital on Monday after the car they were travelling in hit a tree, northeast of Warrnambool.

Emergency services were called to the Hamilton Hwy accident about 10am following reports of a single vehicle accident.

A six-year-old boy was flown to hospital and is in a critical condition.

A three-year-old girl was taken to hospital with minor injuries.

The female driver of the car was also taken to hospital with minor injuries.

Police are still investigating the cause of the crash.
