One person is dead after a cyclist and car collided near Warrnambool
A cyclist has become the fourth rider to die on Victorian roads in a month after a collision just outside of Warrnambool.

A cyclist has become the latest life to be lost on regional Victorian roads this year after a collision just outside Warrnambool.
Police are investigating after a car and a cyclist collided in Illowa, about 7.15am on Friday.
Emergency services were called to the intersection of Southern Cross and Tower Hill roads to reports of the collision.
The cyclist died at the scene.
The driver of the car stopped immediately and has been taken to hospital with minor injuries.
Traffic diversions are in place while police examine the scene.
So far this year 43 lives have been lost on Victorian roads, compared to 31 this time last year.
“We get these emergency traffic calls quite regularly to close the roads,” a Toot Traffic spokesperson said.
