Magistrate Rod Madsen alleged the 30-year-old hoped her problems would “go away” after travelling more than 1800km away from the bloody Boxing Day incident at Coburg North.
The Maroochydore Magistrates Court was told the terrifying allegations during Fox’s failed bail application on Wednesday where she faces seven charges including intentionally cause serious injury, kidnapping, obtain property by deception and other related offences.
Police prosecutor Val Crossley alleged Fox collaborated with the four other people, where the 33-year-old met the 56-year-old Westmeadows man at a warehouse about 3.30am on December 26 last year, but told him she needed to meet an uber outside to retrieve her keys.
Police allege several people arrived in a white Mazda BT50 who were ushered into the warehouse. Police allege they assaulted the victim with a crowbar and kicked him with steel-capped boots. It is not alleged Fox, who has a 7000-strong Instagram following, participated in the assaults.
During the allegedly crazed melee, court documents claim the victim grabbed a knife dropped from one of the co-accused and stabbed one of the men in defence.
The court was told police allege Fox was on a nearby street as a lookout while communicating with the group.
Senior Sergeant Crossley further alleged the group wrapped electrical tape around his arms and legs before they locked him in a large toolbox and placed him into the back of the ute.
Court documents state about 6am the same day the group drove to Roxburgh Park where the alleged victim was removed from the toolbox and taken into a garage, where he was tied to a step ladder and restrained on the ground for 11 hours.
Police allege some of the co-accused continued to assault the victim including dragging a garden rake over his feet, holding a knife to his throat and pointing at him with a small silver revolver.
Bail objection documents state the victim was allegedly forced to make PayID transactions to multiple bank accounts, adding up to $45,000.
Police allege the victim was driven back to the warehouse where Fox and three other co-accused ransacked the place and stole about $300,000 worth of computers, paperwork, jewellery, generators and clothing.
Police further alleged the victim was threatened with a sword for his safe key before he was later released.
A Victorian Police Media spokeswoman said the seriously injured man was found at a Dawson St business in Coburg North about 11pm later that night, with the court hearing he suffered a broken leg and cuts to his face and body.

Police however caught up to her on Tuesday and arrested her.
Court documents state she allegedly made admissions to the incident, but claimed she had no involvement in the detainment.
The 32-year-old told police she did not profit from the alleged caper, but said she had been intimate with the 56-year-old victim on the Sunshine Coast months earlier. She claimed she was given $5000 for property of hers which was not returned to her, the court heard.
Fox, who appeared on video from the watch-house in a blue prison issued jumper and pants, visibly shook her head and cried as the allegations were read to the court.
Senior Sergeant Crossley said the 30-year-old’s alleged escape interstate was a “clear indication” she would avoid justice if granted bail again.
“It’s not everyday we see objection to bails describing such offensive behaviour,” she told the court, likening the allegations to a movie plot.
Duty lawyer Liesel Rogan pushed for Fox’s release on bail, stating she could live with her mum at Clifton Hill in Melbourne, and would abide by strict conditions.
Mr Madsen said from the police facts before the court, he alleged Fox “clearly knew what was going to happen” when she let the group into the warehouse.
He said her involvement allegedly extended to buying bleach and plastic gloves on a co-accused’s instructions and driving his car to the car wash, and even giving him her clothes so he could chuck them out.
Mr Madsen alleged Fox “couldn’t get away quick enough” and “clearly [hoped] her problems would go away”.
Fox had her bail refused and she was formally extradited back to Victoria to face Melbourne Magistrates Court on Thursday.
No pleas were entered.
