Highlights:

*MPCA U14 bowler Chase Hiku captured the stunning figures of 6-5 to bulldoze the DVCA in Round 4 of the Des Nolan Shield. After DVCA coasted to 0-60, Hiku came on third change and was asked to bowl stump to stump, and full. He did just that and finished with 6-5 from 4.4 overs. And later...he hit the winning runs.

*Lilith Marie Ryan blasted 103 retired not out off 118 balls for AGCC in Round 5 of the Mel Jones Shield. Her superb innings included 12 boundaries.

*SECA bowler Joshua Bridges was a wicket-taking machine in the Keith Mackay Shield, with hauls of 2-30, 3-31, 3-11, 1-19, 2-14 and 3-18.

*Oliver Lacey, ISECA’s strike bowler, took 7-19 off eight overs against ECA in the opening round of the Beitzel Shield...and finished with 17 wickets, at 5.1.

*DVCA opener Sahasra Pulibandla put together scores of 54no, 32no, 53no, 12 and 47no in the Savage Shield for a carnival average of 198.

*Ferntree Gully’s Aiden Boby dominated the Keith Mitchell Shield, with 318 runs, at 79.5, and 13 wickets, at 6.4. His highlights included three half-centuries, including a knock of 85 off 69 balls, with 12 sixes and 1 six against RDCA.

*Ferntree Gully skipper Flynn Crutchley led his side to a rousing win over the MPCA in the Josh Browne Plate opener. Defending 104, Flynn had bowling figures of 5 overs, 3 maidens, 4-6 as the FTGDCA boys rolled Mornington Peninsula for 99.
