*Oliver Lacey, ISECA’s strike bowler, took 7-19 off eight overs against ECA in the opening round of the Beitzel Shield...and finished with 17 wickets, at 5.1.
*DVCA opener Sahasra Pulibandla put together scores of 54no, 32no, 53no, 12 and 47no in the Savage Shield for a carnival average of 198.
*Ferntree Gully’s Aiden Boby dominated the Keith Mitchell Shield, with 318 runs, at 79.5, and 13 wickets, at 6.4. His highlights included three half-centuries, including a knock of 85 off 69 balls, with 12 sixes and 1 six against RDCA.
