The Big V season is officially here.

Action will get underway in Division 1 and 2 this weekend before the Championship Divisions tip off on April 6.

As we look ahead, we’ve broken down some of the key names to keep an eye out for this season.

Brian Adams, Altona

Out of the US college system as he prepares to make an immediate impact. A combo guard who can score at three different levels.

Amy Baum, Bulleen

Returns to the club after completing her college career in the US. A previous championship winning point guard.

Nick Carlson, Keysborough

An American important who bring plenty of excitement at the offensive end.

Stephen Coffey, RMIT

Was brilliant throughout all of last season. He’ll put up big numbers again.

Troyce Manassa, Wyndham

A fresh face to Wyndham but not the Big V competition. Gives Wyndham some more offensive firepower.

Shaquille Maharaj, McKinnon

Can have a two-way impact. A high flying prospect who will add plenty of excitement.
