The ball was flying to all parts of Overport Park on Tuesday night.

Edwards, seeing them like beach balls, smacked 10 off the first three deliveries but a dot ball and then a single quashed YC’s hopes; the visitors finishing 6-204.

Spectators were kept entertained, with 418 runs scored in 40 overs.

Jack Greenwood (43 off 24) and Callum Bradford (21 off 19) also did well for YC.

Rhys Elmi capped a superb game with 3-27 off four overs.

Frankston Peninsula all-rounder Brodie Symons played for Baden Powell as its marquee player and made a duck and went for 0-42 off four overs.
