Mt Martha Cricket Club is scrambling through its record books to see if it has ever had four members from the one family play together in the same team.
It happened on Saturday when Tom, Harris, Lewis and Simon Rickard all turned out for the Reds in MPCA A3 grade.

Mt Martha was short at the selection table, until 18-year-old Tom, coming back for the first time after a fractured foot, and his 14-year-old twin brothers, Lewis and Harris, stuck their hands up to play.
However, this still left the Reds one player short — that’s when dad Simon made the call to pull on the whites again to round out the team.
Mt Martha president Mike Ronchi said: “We’re pretty confident four members of the one family playing in the one team is a first for the club.
“In the early days of the club, the Brady family had four brothers play at the club plus their father, but we don’t think they ever played in the one team all together.”
It was a real thrill for Simon to take the field with his three sons.
“It was a brilliant day and a great opportunity I just couldn’t resist,’’ he said.
“To hear the team was still one player short, even with all the boys playing, I jumped at the chance to play alongside them. Not too many dads get to play along with all their sons in the one team and it was a day we’ll all treasure when we look back on it.”
