Last weekend, Camberwell Hockey Club held its annual Pride Cup, a round to celebrate diversity and show support for LGBTIQ members of the community.
It was a day of rainbows, acceptance and inclusion.
Despite the grey sky, the pitch at Matlock Reserve was a little brighter than usual, with a giant rainbow heart painted on the field, balloon art decorating the scoreboard and flags and bunting aplenty.
A large crowd was in attendance and the women’s team won 6-3 and the men 6-1 in games against MCC.
