The Bendigo Junior Classic produced a series of stunning games across the weekend.

U16 Boys Championship — Mildura v Ballarat
Mildura and Ballarat played out an absolute thriller to kick start the action on Sunday morning with the former coming from behind at three-quarter time to win by six points 43-42.
The Heat got home on the back of 14 points from Shaun Watson while Salutu Felise was able to add seven of his own to be his team’s next top scorer.
Wilbur Shea did his best to get Ballarat across the line with 17 points but ultimately his efforts weren’t enough.
U18 Boys Division 1 — Horsham v Warrnambool
Horsham managed to withstand a second half fightback from Warrnambool to ensure it narrowly edge out the team from Victoria’s southwest 46-44.
Hugh Dougherty was in devastating form as he added 19 points including one three-pointer to lead his side to the win.
He was well supported by Freddy Frew who scored 11.
Pwoch Akoch and Zac Dyson were the leading scorers for Warrnambool with 10 apiece.
U16 Girls Division 1 — Wodonga v Bacchus Marsh
When Bacchus Marsh got rolling in the second half it appeared as if they would comfortably overrun Wodonga, but the Wolves were able to do enough to hold on 23-19.
They largely had Elyssa Cole to thank for their win after she led the way with 13 points including crucial points late in the game.
Lara Johnson was the leader for Bacchus with five in an evenly spread contribution from the Lions.
U14 Boys Championship — Shepparton v Colac
The action to kick off Saturday morning couldn’t have been better as Shepparton narrowly beat Colac 64-62 in a thriller.
Shepparton was able to respond in the final term after Colac had snuck into the lead by three points at the final change.
The impressive Dashiell Smith was the star of the show as he finished with 22 points to lead his team across the line.
Hugh Gibson (19 points) and Izzac Tate (18 points) combined for 37 but it wasn’t enough to get their side the win.
U18 Girls Championship — Shepparton v Geelong United
While the scoreboard might not have been close, this game had it all.
The highly skilled Shepparton side led by Holly Egan with 19 points put on a show.
Hannah Onley added 17 of her own for the Gators as they ran out 60-36 winners.
