A sublime hat-trick from teenage sensation Marko Delic has propelled Hume City into the FFA Cup quarter-finals.
On the road for the second straight Cup game, the Victorian powerhouse dominated Adelaide Olympic 3-1 on Wednesday night.
The home team opened the scoring through Mamadi Kamara in the 23rd minute but Delic equalised just nine minutes later.

The 19-year-old put the visitors in front on the hour mark and wrapped up his first senior hat-trick in the 71st minute.
Delic praised his teammates’ effort up the ground and was happy to put the finishing touches on their work.
“That’s my first hat-trick for the club and to do it in the FFA Cup is pretty incredible,” Delic said.
“A good shift from the lads, it was an all round great night.
“It always good to travel with the boys. We’re such a strong-bonded team that we can go away and still get a result.”
Delic’s first came after a goalmouth scramble, poking home from close range.
His second was the simplest of tap ins after some fine lead-up work from George Howard and Danny Dixon, while the third was a true poacher’s goal, cleaning up a rebound from Olympic keeper David Vaughan.
It will be City’s second appearance in the FFA Cup quarter-finals, the first since the club’s semi-final run in 2015.
A-League club Central Coast Mariners will visit Broadmeadows Valley Park on Tuesday, September 17.
City coach Nick Hegarty was proud of his team’s response after conceding the first goal.
“Minus that 10-15 seconds, we were in control of the game from start to finish,” he said.
“Our quality showed through at the end and when we took our chances it was only ever going to be one result.
“Marko’s had a very good second half of the season.
“When he’s got his opportunity, he’s managed to take it with both hands and right now he’s an integral part of what we’ve done over the past few months.
“He’s got a lot of work to do but, for me, he’s got the potential to be a dominant striker in the NPL and above for years to come.”
Hume City faces a three-day turnaround ahead of its NPL elimination final against Oakleigh Cannons on Saturday.
