WOMEN are flocking to a wine club set up to help Peninsula mothers make new friends.

The club was started earlier this year by new mum Emma Currie.

The event planner launched the club through her blog Marvellous Mornington Peninsula.

Ms Currie said the group was designed to encourage Mornington Peninsula Mums to invest time in themselves and connect with other women.

“It’s especially focused on new mums to the area to help them make new friendships,” Ms Currie said.

“At our first catch up there was a lot of ladies who came solo and they had a great night meeting other local ladies.”

She said each catch up was different ranging from guest speakers to pop ups featuring goods made by local businesses.

Every event includes a glass of wine and finger food and costs $30.

Limited tickets are available to each event to ensure those attending have time and space to talk.
