Trio arrested after alleged assault and robbery on Frome Ave in Frankston

A driver has been allegedly strangled, assaulted, and robbed by a trio in Melbourne’s southeast, leaving the alleged victim injured and bloodied.

Three people have been arrested after a motorist was allegedly assaulted and strangled in Melbourne’s southeast.

Two women and a man have been arrested after an alleged robbery on Frome Ave about 9am on Monday.

The Herald Sun understands the trio allegedly strangled and assaulted a 46-year-old man outside an address on Frome Ave before robbing him and leaving their alleged victim covered in blood.

An onlooker called the police and police arrested two women and a man.

A Victoria Police spokeswoman said investigations were ongoing.

The 46-year-old man was injured but did not require medical attention.
