Three more people have been charged for an alleged non-fatal shooting in Clayton earlier this year

Three more people have been charged for an alleged shooting in Clayton, including one man who was arrested when he rocked up to court in an allegedly stolen vehicle.

Three more people have been charged following an alleged a non-fatal shooting in Melbourne’s southeast earlier this year.

The charges follow an incident where police were called to a Clayton home about 2am on February 25.

Police executed warrants at homes in Mt Waverley and Blackburn on Wednesday.

A safe and white Audi were seized from the Mt Waverley address.

A 29-year-old Glen Waverley man was arrested on Wednesday when he attended court for unrelated matters, arriving in an allegedly stolen vehicle.

Detective Superintendent Jason Kelly from the state anti-gangs division said it was “an insult to our justice system” that someone would “turn up to court in an allegedly stolen vehicle”.

He was charged with an alleged fire prevention order to possess a firearm, alleged theft of motor vehicle, allegedly handling stolen goods, allegedly trafficking meth and cocaine and allegedly possessing anabolic steroids.

Police searched the allegedly stolen vehicle and seized a loaded semi-automatic gun, one magazine, allegedly stolen IDs and various drugs.

A 29-year-old Blackburn man and a 23-year-old Blackburn woman were arrested at the Blackburn address.

The man was remanded and will appear at court in June, while the woman was taken to hospital to be treated for effects of alleged drug use.

An allegedly stolen motorbike and various alleged drugs were seized.

Last week a Seabrook man was charged with allegedly recklessly endangering life, alleged home invasion with a firearm, alleged aggravated burglary, allegedly possessing a firearm when an FPO applied and allegedly possessing a loaded gun in a non-public place with reckless disregard for safety.

He was remanded to appear at Melbourne Magistrates‘ Court on 1 June.
