Thousands of women have signed a petition calling for police to lock up an alleged sex creep who has been targeting underage girls at parties and on social media in Melbourne’s southeast. Police say they are investigating reports of an “historical nature”.

A petition has started to lock up an alleged sex creep who has been targeting dozens of underage girls in Melbourne’s southeast.
The petition, which has attracted more than 14,000 signatures, is calling to lock up the alleged offender the Leader has chosen not to name.
It’s alleged the man, believed to be aged in his late 20s but claims to be 18 on dating apps and other social media platforms, has lured dozens of girls aged between 14 to 15 into his car and has “insisted sexual favours”.
He is also believed to frequent underage parties in Melbourne’s southeast in Casey and Cardinia where he allegedly preys on his victims.
The Leader has spoken to victims and seen dozens of posts from them who have come forward on social media, which describe their horrific accounts of the man.
In one distressing account posted to Instagram, the partner of a woman, 20, who was 16 at the time, alleges the man “forced himself” onto his partner in a locked room.
It also alleged she later tested positive for chlamydia after the traumatic experience.
In another account from an alleged victim, two girls attended a party and woke up with the man allegedly raping one them after she had passed out.
There are also several allegations of the man giving “free drugs” to his young victims in exchange for sexual favours.
The Leader has also obtained several screenshots of the man forcing his alleged victims to turn on their locations.
In one conversation, a girl 15, repeatedly tells the man her age, with him still proceeding to tell her to turn on her location, asking her if he should “come or not”.
“Okay but do you want to do shit or nah … do I come or not, answer now, yes or no,” he wrote.
It’s understood dozens of victims have reported alleged incidents of rape and sexual assault to various police stations in Melbourne’s southeast.
One woman wrote on Instagram: “I promise anyone who comes forward you are helping hundreds of women get justice and you have hundreds of people that will have your back”.
A Victoria Police spokeswoman said Dandenong Sexual Offences and Child Abuse Investigation Team detectives were aware of a recent online campaign naming a person as being an alleged sexual offender in the southeastern suburbs.
“Police are investigating these reports which are of a historical nature and therefore it would be inappropriate to comment further at this time,” the spokeswoman said.
“Victoria Police is committed to investigating matters of sexual assault and bringing those responsible to justice.”
The spokeswoman said police encouraged anyone who had been a victim of a sexual assault to contact police.
“Victoria Police does not support or tolerate online vigilantism and those engaging in criminal conduct will be investigated.”
