Melbourne coronavirus conspiracy theorists plans mass protests across Australia
A group of conspiracy theorists is once again planning a mass protest in Melbourne, with thousands of people confirming they will attend. It comes as police said “appropriate action” would be taken to deal with those breaking the law.

A large group of conspiracy theorists that claims the coronavirus pandemic is a fraud is planning mass protests across the country.
The Leader can reveal the disturbing antivirus cult, which is running Facebook livestreams and making outrageous claims, are once again planning to run protests in Melbourne and other major cities around the country.
The Facebook event page, 500,000 to End the Vic Lockdown & celebrate freedom, has more than 9000 attending, with more than 17,000 interested.
Posters for the event advertise it as a “day of love and freedom’, with location yet to be disclosed.
The event page says attendees will speak out against Premier Daniel Andrews, claiming he should be “made accountable for overseeing the biggest public health disaster in Australian history”.
Fanos Panayides and Raphael Fernandez, who run various Facebook groups with thousands of members and promote a web of anti-public health theories, including the coronavirus pandemic and existing conspiracies around vaccinations and 5G technology, have both encouraged people to join the protests.
Last week, Mr Fernandez told his followers in a live video not to worry about fines if they attend.
He also spoke out against mandatory vaccinations on Facebook.
“Australia, the time is coming to make a stand. This is only one of the many hands that have now been shown,” he wrote on Facebook.
A Victoria Police spokesman said police were aware of individuals who that may be planning to attend the Melbourne CBD on Saturday, September 5 to participate in a protest.
“We are continuing to make inquiries into the organisers of this event to deter any breaches of the Chief Health Officer’s directives,” the spokesman said.
“This would be a completely blatant breach of the Chief Health Officer’s directions, putting Victorian lives at risk.”
The spokesman said the police would be responding and will take appropriate action.
“Those thinking of attending can expect to see a highly visible police presence in and around the city to ensure the community is complying with Stage 4 restrictions.
“We will have no hesitation in issuing $1,652 fines or making arrests on the day, if necessary.
In addition to this, those who are found to be in breach of a self-isolation order can be subject to a fine of $4957.”
