A TASMANIAN man was taken to hospital with a severe gash on his forehead after a brawl in an alleyway behind Frankston’s JD’s Pool Hall.
The 49-year-old alleges he was knifed in the head when he stepped outside with three men he had been arguing with inside the Wells St bar about 11.30pm on May 18.
Frankston crime investigation unit detective Senior Constable John Melhuish said the man was taken to hospital where he required several stitches.
Sen-Constable Melhuish said two men have been charged with assault and assault with a weapon.

A 19-year-old Frankston man was remanded while a Carrum Downs man, 22, was bailed.
Both will face Frankston Magistrates’ Court in August.
The third man is yet to be identified.
He’s described as caucasian, about 20 years old and was wearing a black hoodie with white letters on the sleeve, a cap, shorts and flat shoes with no socks.
