A self-proclaimed social media ‘eshay’ with suspected links to a southeast crime gang has been locked up for an alleged protracted violent spate of Dandenong mayhem.
Bailey Gibbs, 26, fronted Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on Monday charged with various acts of alleged violence.
Gibbs, who was charged with affray and assault with a weapon, allegedly attacked another person during a suspected brawl at Dandenong on February 28 this year.
Gibbs, who was also charged recklessly cause serious injury, was allegedly armed with a weapon during the suspected affray.
Police also alleged Gibbs, who was charged with intentionally cause injury, was involved in another brawl at Dandenong on March 8.
Gibbs was also allegedly armed with a weapon during the violence police purport occurred on March 8.
Gibbs was arrested with suspected stolen New Balance apparel and cannabis at Dandenong on March 9.
The court heard Gibbs’ charges were uplifted to the indictable stream after police and the prosecution deemed the allegations were too serious to be heard at a lower level court.
Gibbs proudly displays his ‘eshay’ lifestyle on social media and is linked online to a suspected southeast graffiti vandal and crime gang.
Gibbs, who appeared via videolink from custody, was remanded to front court at a later date.
