We profile every player with the help of coach John Forrest.

A hard hitting right handed opening bat who brings a great vibe to this team. Loves the ball coming onto the bat. Consistently making scores in Peninsula Grammar’s First XI.

Charlie Beggs (Flinders)

Described as a “pure cricketer who has a great cricket brain and has First XI experience locally. Will be his side’s vice-captain and is set to bat in the top-five. Bowls some handy mediums and is great in the field.

Will Cummins (Baden Powell)

A big lad who bowls consistent ling and length with his brilliant control. Can take the new ball and has the ability to find the boundary with the bat.

Ash Hettinayaka (Buckley Ridges)

An up and coming leg spinner who will cause plenty of trouble with his “great control and varying pace”. Set to be his side’s first choice spinner.

Noah Langham (Delacombe Park)

Has an exceptional eye with the bat and can also keep. Can convert his starts at junior and senior level, highlighted by his 100 in Premier Cricket this season.

Milan Malwatta (Moorabbin)

A crafty medium pacers with “impressive change ups” and is hard to score against in the middle overs. A lively bat who will look to take the game on.

Felix Payze (Old Peninsula)

A young all-rounder who is dominating club cricket this season with bat and ball. A great team player described as a “genius in the field”. Will bat in the middle-lower order and bowls off-spin.

Cooper Remy (Pines)

The skipper who will play in this competition for a second season. Will be the first choice keeper and has plenty of skill with the bat given he can play multiple roles.

Archie Sage (Baden Powell)

A right-arm new ball bowler who the club believe is “very underrated”. Has a good change up.

Harish Salwathura (Frankston Peninsula)

A classy left-handed top order bat with plenty of flair. Once he gets himself in, he can score quickly. A gun in the field who can bowl some handy off-spin.

Henry Squire (Sorrento)

A pace bowler at this level who is playing in the First XI for his local club and taking wickets. Could do some damage with the new ball.

Christian Sperandio (Long Island)

Labelled a “talented mature first year player”. A solid bottom-age all-rounder who will bat at six or seven while bowling handy mediums.

Leo Steenholdt (Old Peninsula)

Working back to full fitness after suffering stress fractures in the back. Is a tidy left-arm orthodox spinner when fit. His batting has improved out of sight.

Lachlan Taylor (Pakenham)
