A suitcase wielding vandal who damaged several cars in a Berwick yard is wanted by police. It’s alleged the disgruntled traveller walked into the yard carrying a suitcase about 4am on March 7. He then took swings at bonnets with his suitcase and leaving the cars riddled with dints.

A motorist stabbed during an altercation in Hallam about 2.25pm on April was taken to hospital. Investigators were told a white Daihatsu Delta truck rammed a Blue Mitsubishi Pajero on Belgrave-Hallam Rd. Both drivers got out of their cars and scuffled on the Monash Freeway on-ramp. The Daihatsu driver was stabbed and taken to hospital. Police want to speak with the Pajero driver.
PAKENHAM
A female fiend who used fake ID to withdraw cash from a Pakenham bank on November 15 is on the run from police. Police allege the woman entered the bank about 1.35pm. She used her victim’s ID to withdraw a large amount of money from an account.
CRANBOURNE
A doped up driver caught behind the wheel of a colourful van in Cranbourne just after 7.30am on April 16 has been collared by police. Casey Highway Patrol pulled the van over on Monahans Rd. It stood out because it was decorated with a waterfall and beautiful beach sunset, with ‘come ride with me’ written on the back. The driver, whose licence was disqualified for a prior drug driving offence, tested positive to cannabis. The van was impounded for 30 days and police said the suspect would be “riding with us” to the magistrates court.
DOVETON
A man, 45, who was stabbed in Doveton before driving his car and smashing it in Dandenong South was taken to hospital, but his attacker is still on the loose. The man collided with traffic lights at the intersection of Frankston-Dandenong Rd and Kirkham Rd about 1pm on April 10. Police found the driver with critical injuries from a stab wound and he was taken to hospital. Police believe he was stabbed on the roadside along Power Rd. It is not certain whether he was trying to drive himself to hospital. Police are seeking witnesses to the stabbing.

DANDENONG
A 91-year-old Dandenong man died in hospital on April 22 following a crash in Dandenong on April 7. It is believed the man rolled his car on Stud Rd about 1pm. He was pinned between the car and a tree. The victim was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries but later died. Police are asking anyone who witnessed the incident or has dashcam footage to please come forward.
DANDENONG
An ice-addled, disqualified driver who sped along EastLink near Dandenong in an unregistered Ford Falcon will face court. Dandenong Highway Patrol clocked the driver doing 114km/h about 8.20am on April 20 but they didn’t expect to find so many offences when
they pulled the man over. Police impounded the speedster’s car for 30 days at a cost of $950.
DANDENONG
A suspected crook who rammed two police cars during an early morning escape attempt in Dandenong on April 19 has been arrested. Police spotted the car at a Kirkham Rd property just before 1am. They called for back-up, which arrived a short time later, and both police cars stopped behind the suspect. The crook reversed at speed into the police cars, forcing officers to take evasive action to avoid being hit. The driver rammed the cars multiple times before speeding off, smashing through a fence and into the side of a house. Officers then chased the man, capsicum spraying and arresting him. An officer was injured during the scuffle.
KEYSBOROUGH
Casey Highway Patrol officers are appealing for witnesses following a head-on collision in Keysborough on April 18. It is believed a dark Ford Mondeo and a white Toyota Kluger collided at the intersection of Chapel Rd and the Dandenong Bypass about 8.50pm. The Ford driver, a 35-year-old Keysborough man, was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The passengers of the other vehicle, a 41-year-old woman and 11-year-old girl from Brighton East, were taken to hospital with minor injuries. The male driver and another passenger, also male, were not injured. Police are investigating.

A nine-year-old boy found naked in Highett on April 18 has been returned to his parents. Police launched an appeal to reunite him with his parents after he knocked on a Hibberd St door about 2.45am. He was taken to hospital for assessment before being handed back to his parents.

A male creep who inappropriately touched a 28-year-old woman from behind at a St Kilda bar on February 23 is wanted by police. Moorabbin Sexual Offence and Child Abuse Investigation Team detectives are investigating the sexual assault which occurred about 1am at The Esplanade bar. It is believed the man approached his victim from behind and touched her inappropriately. He was then removed by security. He is described as caucasian, aged 35 to 40, with a medium build and short brown curly hair. He was wearing a royal blue blazer with a white shirt underneath.

A P-plater who blew .160 after being pulled over by police in Brighton late on April 21 will face court at a later date. Moorabbin Highway Patrol officers pulled the man over on Dendy St after he hit a kerb turning a corner. The young driver had his car impounded. He will also be charged on summons with drink driving offences.

A Brighton motorcyclist had his wheels impounded after allegedly being caught drink-driving and speeding in Clifton Hill on April 19. Police nabbed the rider allegedly travelling at 91km/h in a 60km/h zone on Queens Parade about 9.55pm. The probationary rider tested positive to a preliminary breath test. He then returned an alleged reading of .210. The 28-year-old motorcyclist’s licence was suspended and his bike impounded at a cost of $873. He is expected to be charged on summons with speeding and drink driving-related offences.

A crook who snuck into a Bonbeach home and stole a credit card while the occupants were asleep is wanted by police. Detectives believe the man entered the Mascot Ave home during the early hours of April 20. The card was later used at a service station.

A pair of criminals who swiped a credit card from a car parked outside a Mentone home are on the run. Police believe the male and female suspects broke into the Teague Ave car sometime between midnight and 6.30am on April 14. The crooks attempted to use the credit card at a mentone service station.

Frankston police are hoping to track down the owner of a lost war medal handed in to the police station on April 22. The medal belonged to Frederick Willoubhy Buckland. “We’re hoping to track down his family and return the medals to their rightful owner,” a police spokesperson said. Proof must be provided.

A man has died after falling from the rear of a ute in Frankston during the early hours of April 19. Police were told the 19-year-old Frankston man was sitting in the rear tray along with two other people. He fell just after 2.30am as the vehicle travelled along Heatherhill Rd. He was taken to hospital but later died. The driver and other passengers, who were not injured, are assisting police with their inquiries.

A gang of crooks who stole a black 2016 Mazda BT50 Dual Cab ute during an aggravated burglary in Mount Eliza last week are wanted by police. It’s believed the offenders got into the Davis Drive home sometime between 9.30pm on April 18 and 9am the next morning. Police want to hear from anyone who might have witnessed the vehicle (rego 1IB1OA) leaving the address or driving in the area around this time. Investigators are also urging any neighbouring residents who have CCTV to come forward.
MOUNT ELIZA
A Mont Eliza mother was home asleep with her two young children when she woke up to hear a man’s voice about 1.10pm. She went to a neighbour’s house and called police. The neighbour and some friends found a man in the driveway and kept him there until police arrived. A Rye man, 51, was arrested and interviewed. He was remanded to appear at Frankston Magistrates Court at a later date.
ROSEBUD
A gang of burglars who stole a fridge and fishing gear worth more than $2000 from a Rosebud apartment block are wanted by police. Detectives believe the offenders entered the basement of the Point Nepean Rd property sometime between April 19 and April 21. They cut a padlock to access a storage locker and steal the gear.
