Seaford man critical, one arrested after Hampton Park head-on crash

A passenger is fighting for his life following a nasty head-on crash in Melbourne’s southeast, which also saw the driver of the car arrested.

A driver has been arrested and his passenger is fighting for life in hospital following a head-on crash with another car in Hampton Park.

Police are continuing the investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash, which occurred on Laura Drive about 4.30pm on Wednesday

The driver of one of the cars, a 38-year-old Hampton Park man, was arrested and is assisting police with their inquiries.

His passenger, a 34-year-old Seaford man, was rushed to hospital with critical head injuries.

The driver in the other car, 22-year-old Hampton Park man, escaped the crash uninjured.
