Police investigate 70+ burglaries at Mordialloc’s National Storage on Lower Dandenong Rd over a week

Prying thieves found out exactly what was behind the door of more than 70 storage sheds when they raided a popular facility over a protracted time.

Up to 80 sheds were broken into at a store facility in Melbourne’s southeast over a week as police reach out to the impacted owners.

Moorabbin detectives are investigating a series of burglaries at a Mordialloc’s National Storage on Lower Dandenong Rd between 30 April and 7 May.

Police believe up to three offenders broke into between 70 and 80 storage units over about a week.

Investigators are still determining the number of items stolen during the burglaries and are working with the owners of the impacted storage units.

National Storage has been approached for comment.
