Police are on the hunt for three masked thugs who allegedly smashed their way into Melbourne hair salons and stole more than $31,000 in goods.

Three masked thugs allegedly smashed their way into a hairdressers and salon before taking more than $31,000 in goods after a string of burglaries earlier this year.
Police need public assistance to identify three alleged offenders following a series of burglaries and attempted break-ins across Melbourne’s north in February.
Banyule-Nillumbik detectives say three men in an allegedly stolen grey Ford Kuga attended Main Road, Eltham chemist about 12.45am on February 14.
They attempted to break into the store but were unsuccessful.
The same trio fled the scene before they were allegedly involved in a break-in at a Mernda salon about 1.30am.
Hair care products and equipment valued at $9000 were allegedly stolen from the Mernda Village Dr store.
Investigators allege the same crew attended a hairdressers on Hazel Glen Dr, Doreen on the same day and stole $25,000 worth of products.
Investigators have released CCTV and images of three people they believe may assist with their investigation.
