A woman in her 40s is fighting for life after a horror collision in Pearcedale.
Police have been told the woman was waiting to turn right from North Rd into Middle Rd about 4.25pm Thursday, November 10 when a car travelling along North Rd allegedly ran into the back of her turning car.
The impact forced the woman’s car onto the wrong side of the road where it was hit by oncoming traffic.
The driver of the turning car, a woman in her 40s from Pearcedale, was taken to hospital in a critical condition.
An 18-year-old woman from Mornington is helping police with their inquires.
The driver of the oncoming vehicle, a man in his 30s from Cranbourne, suffered minor injuries.
Detectives from the major collision investigation unit want to speak to anyone who witnessed the crash or with dashcam footage.
