He said the arrests were in connection with “a range of different offences including vehicle crime, drug and deception offences”.
Operation Summer Eagle is based out of the Rosebud Police Station and uses officers from the Crime Investigation Unit, Sexual Offences and Child Abuse Investigation Team and Family Violence Investigation Unit.
A 35-year-old man was arrested on January 9 for allegedly stealing several credit cards from cars in Somers, Crib Point and Bittern which were used at local businesses.
He has been charged with multiple offences including fraud, theft and handling stolen goods and remanded to appear at Frankston Magistrates’ Court at a later date.
The following week, on January 15, officers found an allegedly stolen car in Somerville and

“Everyone has the right to go about their day without fear and enjoy the amenities on offer to them here.”
