A man has been found dead at a Noble Park home in the second fatal incident in the suburb in as many days.

Police were called to a home in Henry St about 5am on Saturday after a 59-year-old man was found unresponsive.

A crime scene was established and detectives and forensic investigators visited the scene throughout the morning.

The circumstances surrounding the man’s death are unclear and police will await the results of a post-mortem to assist their investigation.

The incident occurred about 750m away from the scene of a fatal assault in Lesley Grove at 1am on Friday, where a 25-year-old Springvale man died.

A 30-year-old man of no fixed address was arrested and charged with murder, and was due to face Melbourne Magistrates’ Court last night.

Police believe the two men involved in the Lesley Grove incident knew each other.

A police spokeswoman said there was no suggestion the two incidents were linked.
