Mornington: Woman killed, man seriously injured after SUV crash
A local woman has been identified as the driver involved in a fatal car accident on the Nepean Hwy near a major school.

A Mornington woman has died and her male passenger is recovering from serious injuries after a grey SUV crashed into a tree on the Mornington Peninsula.
Emergency services rushed to scene of the single-car crash on the Nepean Highway, near Mornington Secondary College, about 1.25pm on June 19.
The female driver, a 62-year-old Mornington woman, died at the scene.
Her passenger, a 45-year-old Mornington man, was flown to The Alfred hospital with serious injuries, where he remains in a stable condition.
Police are continuing to investigate the cause and circumstances surrounding the crash.
