A 76-year-old Black Rock man has died at a popular Melbourne beach just before noon on Monday.

A Black Rock man has died at Black Rock Beach just before noon.
Emergency services attended Black Rock Life Saving Club near Beach Rd at 11.15am, after the 76-year-old swimmer failed to return to store.
The man was located at 11.45am and was unresponsive.
He died a short time later.
The death is not being treated as suspicious and a report will be made for the coroner.
