A Noble Park father of two who allegedly tried to take a bullet through airport security has racked up a range of new charges, including alleged weapons possession and car theft.

Luke Stuart, 33, fronted the Dandenong Magistrates’ Court on October 22, facing one charge of possession of ammunition, alongside a ream of other charges including alleged theft of a motor vehicle, drug possession and alleged weapons possession.

Mr Stuart appeared via video link from Marngoneet Correctional Centre in Lara, where he is being held on remand.

In charge sheets seen by the Herald Sun, Mr Stuart allegedly tried to take ammunition through airport security on August 5 last year.

Police say he went on a further crime spree in April, where it is alleged he stole a Toyota RAV4 from St Kilda.

He was arrested by cops allegedly in the possession of two weapons, a range of ammunition and a silencer, knuckledusters, a tablet press and date rape drug 1,4-Butanediol.

Police have also alleged he made a fake drivers licence and knowingly was in the possession of stolen goods.

The court heard Mr Stuart had planned to apply for bail, however decided to hold off on his application so all his matters could be heard at once.

Magistrate Francis Medina adjourned his case to October 30, when he will return to court to face the charges.
