The search for a missing man in Melbourne’s southeastern suburbs has escalated, as police release CCTV in a public plea for assistance.
Po Wai, a 69-year-old Rowville man, was last seen in the late morning of Saturday, October 19.
In CCTV footage released by police, Mr Wai was seen walking down Liviana Dr, where investigators believe he may have been walking towards the Churchill National Park.
Mr Wai’s family have raised concerns for his welfare, as he has diabetes and requires insulin.
It is believed he does not have his medication with him.
Police have urged the public to check their garden sheds and backyards for Mr Wai.
On Tuesday afternoon, uniformed police officers and mounted branch SES members combined forces and searched the Bergins Rd and Churchill Park Dr vicinity.
Mr Wai was last seen wearing grey tracksuit pants, a navy jumper and runners.
