Keysborough crash: Man dies after motorbike accident on Kingsclere Ave

A horrific crash in Keysborough has claimed the life of a motorbike rider, with police now appealing for witnesses to come forward who were travelling in the area.

A man has died after a horror motorbike crash in Keysborough on Monday morning.

It is believed a 49-year-old Noble Park man was travelling along Maroubra Ave when he crashed into a pole at the Kingsclere Ave intersection about 6am.

He died at the scene.

A tow truck was seen arriving to clear the bike from the scene about 9.45am.

The road remains blocked both ways between Wahroonga Ave and Woollahra Ave.

Greater Dandenong Highway Patrol officers are appealing for witnesses.

Investigators are appealing for anyone who may have seen a 2009 silver and black Triumph motorbike travelling in the area this morning to come forward.
