Accused gunman charged over luxury car shooting in Narre Warren

A man has been charged after he allegedly targeted a luxury car during road rage attack in Melbourne’s south east.
Police allege a white Audi sedan was shot at while driving along Narre Warren-Cranbourne Rd near Norfolk Drive about 5pm on February 21.
It’s believed the alleged shot came from a white 2008 Toyota Hilux ute traveling north.
The driver was not hit but his car sustained damage.
He drove to a nearby police station to report the alleged shooting.
Police executed a warrant at a property in Cranbourne on March 14, where a 38-year-old man was arrested in relation to a theft of a motor vehicle which allegedly occurred in Cranbourne South on February 17.
The man was charged with theft of motor vehicle, prohibited person possessing a firearm, possess drug of dependence, commit indictable offence whilst on bail and unlicensed driving.
He was remanded in custody to face court at a later date.
